Ontario Fishing Zone Map
Ontario is split into twenty fisheries management zones, and the seasons are different in each one. Find where you fish, and you’ve found your rules.
Every lake in here was placed in its zone by the government’s own coordinates for it against the government’s own zone boundaries. A big lake can still straddle a boundary — the regulations follow the water you’re on.

The zone you’re standing in isn’t always the zone you’re fishing. Boundaries follow shorelines, so a town on the water can sit in one zone while the lake in front of it belongs to another. Where that happens, it’s noted below. The regulations follow the water, not the boat ramp.

⚑ marks a town within about two kilometres of a land boundary between two zones. Close enough that the next road over may be a different zone — worth checking the map rather than trusting the town name.
